VOTER WARNING: Beware of Dirty Tricks by the People’s Action Party (PAP)
TAMAN JURONG — Leaked WhatsApp messages reportedly linked to grassroots volunteers supporting PAP candidate Shawn Huang suggest a coordinated attempt to sabotage a Progress Singapore Party (PSP) walkabout.
According to The Online Citizen, the messages describe tactics like occupying hawker centre tables, posing as residents to obstruct outreach, and engaging PSP members to waste their time. One participant even called it the “perfect strategy.”
The group chat was deleted after the leak. As of now, no response has been issued by Shawn Huang or the PAP.
Legal experts cite potential breaches of the Parliamentary Elections Act, including:
- Undue influence
- Obstruction of lawful election activities
- Coordinated voter engagement sabotage
If proven, this would represent one of the most blatant abuses of electoral integrity in recent memory.
The Singapore Authentic Scam Review Platform has called on the Elections Department, CPIB, and AGC to launch a full and independent investigation.
DIRTY TRICKS REVEALED
These leaked messages confirm what many feared: the PAP is allegedly resorting to sabotage — from disrupting walkabouts to planting anonymous online smears.
This mirrors the PAP-stacked Committee of Privileges (5 PAP MPs vs. 1 WP MP), used to declare Pritam Singh a liar. It was political theatre — not justice.
